Billy Whizz's Wonderboys chairman Jack Richardson officially unveiled the club's new logo today in a special press conference at Shitters Palace. The logo was added to the kit in time for Friday's match against Young Guns, but the public announcement was made only this afternoon.
"It is something the club has been planning for a long time" said Mr Richardson, in a club statement. "We wanted something a little more modern, and something that would professionally represent the club"
"We feel that the new logo ticks every box; it looks polished, and well-done, and still manages to show some of the club's history, with the turd, the heart of Shitters United, the club's former name"
"On behalf of the club, I would like to thank fc BTK who put the club's initial design into place. His time and effort that he put into the creation of the logo is very much appreciated by all here at Shitters Palace"
Mr Richardson also revealed that an open forum with himself is planned, in which fans would be able to ask the chairman questions about events on and off the pitch, although no date has been finalised. All reaction to this will be posted on here.
