Transfer activity hots up

Whizz 'excited' about prospective arrivals, while 2 have been transfer listed.

Billy Whizz's Wonderboys have transfer listed midfielders Peter O'Reilly and Michael Hill this evening, while manager Billy Whizz gave further information into his transfer plans.

O'Reilly was listed for 22.5m, and Hill 2.5m, with both transfers ending on Wednesday evening, shortly after the first game of Season 25.

"We've got a couple of irons in the fire at the moment" confirmed Whizz. "I think it's good that we have some initial plans before going blind on the Transfer List. One or two of the players that we've looked at are really exciting prospects, although it's important we keep to our budget. Everyone can dream of having the best players, so we have to be realistic, but we're hopeful that at least one of these deals can come off"

Whizz refused to identify any of the players, but confirmed that of his two main targets, one was English, while other was foreign, and both are 'young, but experienced enough to do what is required'. The English player is believed to be Chammys striker 'GYAN' Wallace, who will be available for 40m after the Season Update on Monday.

Of the departures, Whizz stated that it was likely more was to come:

"We wish these two the best, it's a shame it didn't really work out for them, but hopefully it should give us a bit of cash to work with, and help us with further signings. It's very much all hands to the pump to give us as much funds as possible to get quality players in, and it's likely therefore that more will have to go, but we're waiting for bids"

Enquiries have been received for Thomas Avery and Dwight Connolly, while Mick Richards could also leave the club.

All signings will be on the BWW first, along with build up to Season 25 so be sure to check back regularly for the news
