Whizz wants promotion tonight

Wonderboys manager hopes last day nerves can be avoided

Billy Whizz's Wonderboys can confirm their promotion tonight in front of a home crowd if the can beat Super Starzz tonight at Shitters Palace.

The Wonderboys are 5 points ahead of nottingham forest fc with 2 games to play, and if forest fail to win tonight against Man Utd SER, the Whizzers will be promoted whatever their result, however manager Billy Whizz has urged caution in this mornings press conference:

"It looks very good, and we've received some messages of congratulations already, however the job isn't done yet. A win tonight, and we can celebrate for sure, with our fans as well, but at the minute, we need to be working hard, so that tonight can be something to remember."

"Last time round, Super Starzz gave us a good hiding, but I think that defeat actually invigorated us, and started a superb run for us in the league. We can't go out there thinking we've won, because we haven't, and if we become complacent we will be punished, we know that. My job therefore, is to get the players focussed, and make the football the main event - we all know whats at stake here, and its up to the guys to get out there and deliver"

Whizz will be without winger Phillipe Konz, who was injured in the victory over Derby County FC, and defender Matt Hawthorn. Jamie Cort will deputise on the left wing, while Rob Liddell will play DML, with O'Reilly slotting in at left back.
